William
Richard Meade (1876-1962)
William worked as a Security Guard at the Stoney Mountain Penitentiary for 10
years and later moved to Manigotagan. William and his wife, Mary
Elizabeth (Minnie) settled in Manigotagan in 1921. He began working with
Government Highways, mining groups and at the local sawmills. William and
Minnie had 9 children.
